Prayer

Prayer changes things.
Prayer changes us, aligns us with God.

Prayer is an important part of Living Rock Church. We have a room dedicated to prayer, and a team of intercessors that pray daily for the needs of the church and its people.

Teach us to pray…

A Weekly Meditation on Prayer

“One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” - Luke 11:1

Hear my cry O God…

“Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer.” - Psalm 61:1

Prayers for Abby

Prayers for Abby are birthed in the heart of LRC to stand with and pray for Abigail, a beloved member of our church family and gifted dancer who was seriously injured during a dance ministry performance and has been side-lined from life for many years.

While these prayers voice the cry of our hearts for Abby, we include them here to encourage prayer for Abby and to invite you to use them to give voice to the needs of your own heart or someone you know.

A Prayer for our Nation + the World

Our Bible is full of stories of how God dealt with nations of the world. God ultimately has His way with the nations. Ninevah avoided a national crisis because they heard the prophetic voice of Jonah Jerusalem was overthrown because its King and citizens would not heed the cries and warnings of Isaiah and Jeremiah.

Babylon became the place of Exile for Israel. In Babylon she repented for her idolatry and longed for the days of righteousness and peace through obedience. Beginning this Wednesday, September 11th from now until November 6th Pastor Ryan is asking you to join him in fasting and prayer for the nation and world.

Do you have a prayer request?
