Kidz Rocks’ mission exists to help families meet Jesus, imitate Jesus, and share Jesus through Gospel instruction, group activities, and service. We seek to partner with parents in nurturing the spiritual development of each child and encourage them to actively participate in worship, Biblical study, fellowship, and ministry opportunities with their children. We encourage children to come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and establish a personal faith, while also discovering their God-given ministry gifts and talents.

Kids Rock: For All Ages!

Nursery (6 months – 2 years)

We provide a welcoming nursery room for nursing mothers or parents with young children. The nursery features:

  • Live video monitor so parents can watch the service

  • Books and toys for little ones

  • Comfortable space for nursing

  • Changing area

Classrooms

24 months – Kindergarten
A fun, interactive environment where kids learn about God’s love through stories, songs, and activities.

1st – 6th Grade
Engaging Bible lessons, games, and discussions designed to help kids grow in their faith and apply God’s Word to everyday life.

Our Curriculum

Kidz Rock utilizes Lifeways’ Gospel Project Curriculum.

This curriculum chronologically follows the Bible over a 3 year program. Every age group will be learning the same Bible story each week with age-appropriate lessons and activities.

Family Bible Study

Join us for our monthly Kidz Rock Family Bible Study, where families come together to learn, grow, and have fun exploring God’s Word. This is at noon following our Sunday service! Each month, we’ll meet in person for a time of teaching, discussion, and activities designed for the whole family. Between our monthly gatherings, you can stay connected and engaged with weekly devotionals available through the Band app.

Sept. 7 - Oct. 5 - Nov. 2 - Dec. 7 

This is a wonderful way to deepen your family’s faith, spend time together, and connect with other families in our church community.

Special Highlights:

  • November 2 – Families will receive a special Thanksgiving Kit to enjoy together at home.

  • December 7 – Kids will help put together Christmas packs for either bread2Bread or the Shoreline Soup Kitchen, learning the joy of serving others.

Pancakes and PJs

Kids, come dressed in your coziest pj’s and be prepared to eat some delicious pancakes and have some Christmas fun! This is a Community Outreach event! Invite your friends, neighbors, and family!

The fun is all happening on Saturday, December 13th at 11am! Pre-pregistration is required - this event is free for all kids ages 3 to 6th grade.

VBS 2025 Recap

What a great VBS we had! Magnified! was an amazing week of learning all about how God unspires kids to explore the intricate details of God’s wonderful world and celebrate the greatness of God. Throughout the week, children learned that God created us, cares for us, loves us, forgives us, and is ever faithful in keeping His promises.

Meet our Director!

Brittany Michaud - Children’s Ministry Director 

Brittany has been a member of Living Rock Church for many years and a part of children’s ministry since 2010. She wants to encourage young children to grow in their faith and pursue their own walks with the Lord. She currently resides in Groton with her husband, Sam, and their daughters, Valerie and Vanessa.
