Water baptism is a way for believers to outwardly express what God has done in their hearts and lives in the presence of other believers. When you are baptized in water, you are identifying yourself with Jesus. If you have been baptized we invite you to stay after service as our brothers and sisters take this step of faith and to celebrate this significant decision!

Join us for an inspiring afternoon after of knitting, crocheting, and prayer at our upcoming Pray & Purl event! This is a unique opportunity to come together with other crafters and create something beautiful while deepening your faith.

During this event, we will provide materials and guidance for knitting and crocheting projects for all skill levels. We will also have a time of worship and prayer, where we can lift up our requests and praises to God together.

For our first lunch on Sunday, November 19th, our guest speaker will be Ashley Phan, the co-founder and president of We Are One Inc. - a ministry whose mission is to stop sex and labor trafficking in the state of Connecticut.

Join us for a church work day! We're calling on all members of our congregation to come together and help clean up the inside of the building and spruce up the church property. We'll be tackling tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, organizing, and cleaning the inside of the building, and working on outdoor tasks such as pruning bushes, raking leaves, and removing debris to tidy up the church property and get ready for winter

This is a great opportunity to connect with your fellow church members and give back to the LRC community. We'll provide the cleaning supplies and tools needed for the tasks, but please bring your own gardening gloves if you plan on working outside.

We'll be providing coffee and donuts for all volunteers! Please sign up ahead of time so we can have an accurate head count for the food.

There will be an informational meeting after service on Sunday, October 29 in the Hospitality Room for all teachers and assistants, in preparation for our children's program relaunch on November 5.

Next Sunday, October 22, we are having a combined service with our sister church, Kingdom Builders Impact Ministries. The Bridgeport church will be joining us for service, and leading worship. There will be a light reception in the Community Room following service for fellowship with our brothers & sisters!

Slightly Seasoned is sponsoring Potluck and Games on Saturday, October 21st at 4pm - all ages are welcome! Bring a side dish to share, there will be board games and fellowship!
