The Children’s Ministry of Living Rock Church exists to provide a safe and loving environment that offers biblical instruction, group activities, and service opportunities that will encourage children from Pre K through Grade Six to come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and establish a personal faith, while also discovering their God-given ministry gifts and talents.

At this VBS, your kids will explore the biblical answers to these questions as they set off on an epic adventure from Genesis to Revelation. Amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs, your children will sail along on a fun jungle cruise!

Easter Egg Hunt 2024
We had an amazing turnout for our Easter Egg Hunt with 60+ kids and their families in attendance!

VBS 2023: Keepers of the Kingdom
This past summer we saddled our steeds and put on the armor of God to battle for Truth! Kids learned how they can be part of God’s kingdom through salvation in his Son, and how they’ll will be equipped with the armor of God as they train to become Keepers of the Kingdom who stand strong in the battle for truth!
VBS 2022: Make Waves
In this wet and wild VBS, kids learned that what we do today can change the world around us. When we put our trust in Jesus, we can "make waves" because of His Spirit living inside of us.
Through fun activities, engaging lessons, and God's Word, we helped kids understand how they can share God's love with the people around them. They discovered that when they put their faith in Jesus, God will give them His Spirit. And like the Bible says, the Spirit is like many streams of living water. Kids explored what it means to "make waves" in their own lives that will influence the people around them.
It was a week full of fun - we can’t wait to see what next year holds!
VBS 2021: Wilderness Adventures
This past summer we took the kids on a trip through the desert with Moses! We had an awesome time learning how God always provides for our needs - we can’t wait until next year!
Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt - April, 2021
What a great morning we had at our Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt! The cold couldn't stop the fun - there were arts and crafts and the kids learned the Resurrection story as they hunted for eggs along the trail!

Brittany has been a member of Living Rock Church for many years and a part of children’s ministry since 2010. She wants to encourage young children to grow in their faith and pursue their own walks with the Lord. She currently resides in Groton with her husband, Sam, and their daughters, Valerie and Vanessa.
