“Go out to the roads and country lanes and compel them to come in, so that my house will be full.” — Luke 14:23

An Open Invite

In Luke 14, Jesus tells a story about a great banquet — a table prepared, seats ready, and an open invitation. When some declined the invitation, the master sent his servants out again, urging them to go farther, wider, and deeper to invite more people in. His heart was clear: there is room at the table.

This verse reminds us that church isn’t just a weekly gathering — it’s an open invitation. God’s house was never meant to be half-full. It was meant to be filled with people who need hope, community, healing, and truth. And often, the way someone steps into that hope is through a simple invitation from someone they trust.

As a church family, we want to take Jesus’ words seriously. Let’s pray boldly. Let’s invite intentionally. Let’s believe that one conversation, one text, one moment of courage could make an eternal difference.

His house has room. Who will you invite?

Step 1: Pray

Start by praying and write down 3 names that God puts on your heart.

Step 2: Invite

Personally invite at least one person this week.

Step 3: Bring

Bring your “one” to church on Sunday.
